Women’s Opera Network: Taking Control of Our Narrative
Limited Capacity filling up

Women leaders will share how artists and audiences are reimagining women’s stories in opera, both in standard repertoire and through the creation of new works. A second discussion will focus on practical ways to build a personal network, take risks to jump barriers, and establish gender parity in an environment that confronts misogyny and respects women. Attendees will also learn how the Women’s Opera Network is connecting mentors and protégés, creators, colleagues and allies.

Reception to follow.

REFERENCE AND RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS SESSION:
Book: Opera, or the Undoing of Women by Catherine Clement

In our continued effort to provide resources and content that is relevant to our members, please take a moment to take our soft skill survey.  Collected responses will be used to help formulate programming for future WON calls, webinars and conference sessions. All contact information will be kept confidential and only used by OPERA America staff and WON steering committee members for participation requests.
