Jamie Andrews is currently the Chief Learning Officer for the Minnesota Opera. In this position he has developed award winning programs that engage audiences of all ages, such as Music Out Loud, an opera-based El Sistema-inspired social development program, and Project Opera, a vocal training program for young voices ages 8-18. An important part of Project Opera has been the commissioning of The Giver by Susan Kander, and Memory Boy with music by Reindalo Moya and libretto by Mark Campbell. He is a participant of OPERA America’s Leadership Intensive, and was featured by Musical America as “Top 30 under 40” arts education administrators in 2012.
