Christine Yoon

The Wallace Foundation
Senior Program Officer
Christine Yoon is a senior program officer of the Arts at the Wallace Foundation. In this role, Christine helped launch the $52 million Building Audiences for Sustainability Initiative, supporting nonprofit performing arts organizations across the U.S. Christine also supports Wallace’s Arts for Young People initiative, which has as its goal helping low-income, urban youth engage in high-quality arts education programs, and to ensure that lessons or models for improving the development and sustainability of such programs are shared broadly with the field.

Christine joined the foundation in November 2013, bringing to the role experience in philanthropy, nonprofit arts administration and for-profit business development: She was at the business side of American Express - in a variety of strategic marketing and business development roles - and in their corporate social responsibility and philanthropy team. She was also the assistant to the chief financial and administrative officer at the New York Philharmonic.

Yoon holds a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in performing arts administration from the Steinhardt School at New York University. She is an alumna of Coro’s Leadership New York program and volunteers with The Old Stone House in Brooklyn.
