Until I became a trustee of the Sarasota Opera, my connection with opera had been as one siting in the audience for some perhaps 400 to 500 performances of something just shy of 200 different opera. In short I am an opera lover. Upon become a trustee, I have been learning there is much of interest and much to do on the other side of the curtain be it on there artistic or business side.
